Arunachal package prices per person

All amounts are per person for the land package and include 5% GST. Select your actual travelling group size and hotel category for the applicable price.

Hotels and night stays

Hotel names are indicative and subject to availability; similar-category hotels may be offered. Categories are package service levels, not a promise of official star ratings. Mountain-town stays may be simpler than city hotels.

Day-wise itinerary

Day 1: Guwahati to Bhalukpong

Arrive at Guwahati airport or railway station. Drive to Bhalukpong on the Kameng river, with the Inner Line Permit check at the Arunachal border.

Overnight: Bhalukpong

Day 2: Bhalukpong to Dirang

Drive into the hills via Tipi Orchid Research Centre. Visit Thupsung Dhargye Ling Monastery and Dirang Dzong.

Day 3: Dirang local exploration

Explore Dirang valley, its dzong, monastery, local market and nearby viewpoints.

Day 4: Dirang via Sela Pass to Tawang

Cross Sela Pass and see Sela Lake, Jaswant Garh War Memorial and Nuranang (Jang) Falls en route to Tawang. Mountain travel times depend on conditions.

Day 5: Tawang local sightseeing

Visit Tawang Monastery, Urgelling Gompa, the Giant Buddha Statue and Tawang War Memorial. Enjoy time in the local market.

Day 6: Bum La Pass and mountain lakes

Excursion by local permitted vehicle to Bum La Pass with Sangetsar (Madhuri) Lake and PT Tso Lake, subject to army permit, weather and road conditions.

Day 7: Tawang at leisure

Free day for shopping, cafés and relaxation. Optional local experiences can be requested.

Day 8: Tawang to Bomdila

Drive down to Bomdila, approximately 180 km / 6 hours, and enjoy Himalayan sunset viewpoints.

Day 9: Bomdila and Shergaon

Visit Bomdila Monastery and explore Shergaon, Choskorang Waterfalls and an old Buddhist gompa. Return to Bomdila.

Day 10: Bomdila to Guwahati

Drive to Guwahati via Bhalukpong and Tezpur, approximately 280 km / 7 hours. Check in and relax.

Day 11: Kamakhya Temple and departure

Visit Maa Kamakhya Temple, then transfer to Guwahati airport for departure.

Plan your Arunachal holiday

When should I travel?

October–April is a popular planning window for mountain scenery. Winter can bring snow and temporary road closures around Sela and Bum La; snowfall and access are never guaranteed. These prices apply only within the validity dates above.

Are flights from Ahmedabad included?

No. This tour starts and ends in Guwahati. We can quote Ahmedabad–Guwahati flights separately, or help travellers arriving from other Indian cities.

Is Bum La Pass included?

Yes, the local permitted vehicle excursion and permit are included, subject to approval. Army permits, weather and road conditions determine access; the excursion may be cancelled or changed.

What documents are needed for the ILP?

Indian travellers should provide a clear government photo ID and passport-size photo at least 10–15 working days before travel. PAN is not accepted for this arrangement. Carry original IDs and two passport photos. Foreign nationals need a separate Protected Area Permit; ask us before booking.

Booking and cancellation

Confirm dates, hotel availability and final services with your consultant before payment. The land-package cancellation terms in this offer are: 30 days or more, ₹10,000 per person non-refundable deposit; 29–20 days, deposit plus 25%; 19–14 days, deposit plus 50%; 13–8 days, deposit plus 75%; 7 days or less, 100% of holiday cost. Air-ticket charges follow airline rules plus ₹500 per ticket + GST service fee.
