Arunachal package prices per person

All amounts are per person for the land package and include 5% GST. Select your actual travelling group size and hotel category for the applicable price.

Hotels and night stays

Hotel names are indicative and subject to availability; similar-category hotels may be offered. Categories are package service levels, not a promise of official star ratings. Mountain-town stays may be simpler than city hotels.

Day-wise itinerary

Day 1: Guwahati to Bhalukpong

Traditional Assamese welcome on arrival. Drive to Bhalukpong, approximately 260 km / 5–6 hours.

Overnight: Bhalukpong

Day 2: Bhalukpong to Dirang

Visit Tipi Orchid Research Centre and Nag Temple en route to Dirang, approximately 140 km / 5–6 hours.

Overnight: Dirang

Day 3: Dirang via Sela Pass to Tawang

Visit Dirang Monastery. Continue via Sela Pass, Jaswant Garh and Nuranang Falls.

Overnight: Tawang

Day 4: Tawang sightseeing

Tawang Monastery, Urgelling Monastery, Giant Buddha Statue and War Memorial with an evening light and sound show. Alternatively, request a Bum La excursion with Sangetsar and PT Tso lakes: local vehicle costs extra.

Overnight: Tawang

Day 5: Tawang to Bomdila

Drive via Nuranang / Jang Falls and visit Bomdila Monastery.

Overnight: Bomdila

Day 6: Bomdila to Kaziranga

Drive to Kaziranga. Visit the Orchid & Biodiversity Park and tea gardens if time permits; entry fees extra.

Overnight: Kaziranga

Day 7: Kaziranga jeep safari to Shillong

One morning jeep safari included, then drive to Shillong via Umiam Lake. Evening at Police Bazaar.

Overnight: Shillong

Day 8: Cherrapunjee excursion

Elephant Falls, Mawkdok Dympep valley, Nohkalikai and Seven Sisters waterfalls, Mawsmai Cave and Arwah Cave. Return to Shillong; entry fees extra.

Overnight: Shillong

Day 9: Mawlynnong and Dawki

Explore Mawlynnong, the Riwai living root bridge, Balancing Rock, Umngot river at Dawki and the Indo-Bangladesh border. Return to Shillong. Boat rides cost extra.

Overnight: Shillong

Day 10: Shillong to Guwahati

Drive to Guwahati and visit Maa Kamakhya Temple. Optional Brahmaputra sunset cruise at direct payment.

Overnight: Guwahati

Day 11: Departure

State Emporium or Srimanta Sankardeva Kalakshetra if time permits, followed by Guwahati airport transfer.

• Additional costs caused by cancellations, illness, roadblocks, landslides or weather
• Anything not mentioned in inclusions
• Bum La local vehicle: approximately ₹5,500–6,000 per vehicle for up to 6 guests, payable locally
• Optional boat rides, cruises and activities

Plan your Arunachal holiday

When should I travel?

October–April is a popular planning window for mountain scenery. Winter can bring snow and temporary road closures around Sela and Bum La; snowfall and access are never guaranteed. These prices apply only within the validity dates above.

Are flights from Ahmedabad included?

No. This tour starts and ends in Guwahati. We can quote Ahmedabad–Guwahati flights separately, or help travellers arriving from other Indian cities.

Is Bum La Pass included?

No. The local permitted vehicle is an optional extra payable locally. Army permits, weather and road conditions determine access; the excursion may be cancelled or changed.

What documents are needed for the ILP?

Indian travellers should provide a clear government photo ID and passport-size photo at least 10–15 working days before travel. PAN is not accepted for this arrangement. Carry original IDs and two passport photos. Foreign nationals need a separate Protected Area Permit; ask us before booking.

Booking and cancellation

Confirm dates, hotel availability and final services with your consultant before payment. The land-package cancellation terms in this offer are: 30 days or more, ₹10,000 per person non-refundable deposit; 29–20 days, deposit plus 25%; 19–14 days, deposit plus 50%; 13–8 days, deposit plus 75%; 7 days or less, 100% of holiday cost. Air-ticket charges follow airline rules plus ₹500 per ticket + GST service fee.
