Best time to visit Sri Lanka
December–March is generally a strong choice for these south and west coast tours. April is warmer with possible afternoon showers. May–September favours the east coast; Trincomalee and Jaffna routes need extra weather flexibility during the northeast monsoon. October–November can bring widespread heavy showers. Sea trips and safaris depend on conditions.
