🗓️ Day-Wise Itinerary
Day 1 — Arrival in Leh
Arrive at Leh Kushok Bakula Rimpochhe Airport. Transfer to hotel. Complete rest day for acclimatization — essential at high altitude (3,524 m). Evening leisure walk around Leh Market. Overnight at hotel.
Day 2 — Leh Local Sightseeing
After breakfast, explore Leh's iconic landmarks — Shanti Stupa (panoramic city views), Leh Palace (historic 17th-century royal palace), Namgyal Tsemo Gompa, and the bustling Leh Bazaar. Overnight at hotel.
Day 3 — Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La
Drive over Khardung La Pass (one of the world's highest motorable roads at ~18,380 ft). Descend into the scenic Nubra Valley. Visit Diskit Monastery and the famous Hunder Sand Dunes — enjoy a Bactrian double-humped camel ride. Overnight in Nubra.
Day 4 — Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake
Drive through dramatic mountain terrain to the stunning Pangong Tso Lake (14,270 ft) — famous for its ever-changing shades of blue. Enjoy the serene lakeside sunset. Overnight near Pangong Lake.
Day 5 — Pangong Lake to Leh
