Day-by-day itinerary — Breakfast package via Namchi
DAY 01: BAGDOGRA AIRPORT / NJP → GANGTOK
Distance: 135 Kms | Drive Time: Approx. 5 Hours
Upon arrival at Bagdogra Airport / NJP Railway Station, you will receive a warm welcome from our representative and proceed towards Gangtok – “The Land of Monasteries.”
Enjoy a scenic drive through lush valleys, winding mountain roads, and breathtaking Himalayan landscapes. En route, you may take short refreshment breaks for tea, snacks, and photographs.
On arrival, check in to your hotel.
Evening at leisure to relax and acclimatize.
DAY 02: DAY TRIP – TSOMGO LAKE – NATHU LA PASS – BABA MANDIR
Excursion Timing: Approx. 08:30 AM – 04:00 PM
After breakfast, proceed for a full-day excursion to the Indo-China border region.
Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft): A breathtaking glacial lake surrounded by snow-capped mountains.
Baba Harbhajan Singh Memorial (13,200 ft): A revered memorial dedicated to the Indian Army soldier.
Return to Gangtok by evening.
Additional cost of ₹6,500 per vehicle applicable.
DAY 03: GANGTOK → NAMCHI → DARJEELING
Gangtok to Namchi: 80 Kms | 3 Hours | Namchi to Darjeeling: 50 Kms | 2 Hours
After breakfast, drive to Namchi, known for its spiritual and panoramic attractions.
Siddhesvara Dham (Char Dham Complex): Featuring a 26m statue of Lord Shiva and replicas of 12 Jyotirlingas.
Samdruptse Hill: Home to the grand statue of Guru Padmasambhava.
Sai Mandir: Beautifully designed temple dedicated to Shirdi Sai Baba.
Later continue to Darjeeling – “The Queen of Hills.”
Upon arrival, check in to your hotel. In the evening, you may enjoy a leisurely walk to The Mall Road and visit Mahakal Temple.
DAY 04: DARJEELING SIGHTSEEING
Early Morning: 04:30 AM – 07:30 AM | City Tour: 10:00 AM – 04:00 PM

Later proceed for Darjeeling city tour covering: Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park (Closed Thursday), Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed Thursday), Tibetan Refugee Self Help Centre (Closed Sunday), Tenzing & Gombu Rock, Happy Valley Tea Estate (Outer View), Japanese Peace Pagoda, Darjeeling Himalayan Railway (Toy Train – tickets to be booked directly online by guest).
Return to hotel by evening.
DAY 05: DARJEELING → BAGDOGRA / NJP
Distance: 80 Kms | Drive Time: Approx. 3 Hours
After breakfast, check out and transfer to Bagdogra Airport / NJP Railway Station for your onward journey with beautiful memories of Sikkim & Darjeeling.
Included in this option: 4 nights’ accommodation on twin sharing; Daily breakfast. Dinner is not included in these displayed rates; a breakfast-and-dinner upgrade can be quoted separately. Private transfers and sightseeing as per this option’s itinerary, on a point-to-point basis rather than full-day disposal. Local on-tour assistance.

Best time to visit & optional experiences
Spring and autumn are popular sightseeing seasons. Winter brings colder mornings and possible road restrictions; monsoon can bring rain and travel delays. Ask about a toy train ride, tea tasting or a café stop where available. These extras may need an adjusted schedule and are not included unless expressly confirmed.

Mountain journeys take longer than distances suggest. Bring warm layers, comfortable shoes and rain protection. Wi-Fi, hot water, power backup and lifts vary by hotel, especially in North Sikkim. North Sikkim excursions require prior confirmation of route access and permits; high-altitude stops must be assessed for each traveller before booking. Snow and clear mountain views are never guaranteed.
